We are excited to announce the three alumni speakers who will join us at the Spread the WoRD Conference on May 16! As panelists in a moderated discussion, Nicole Anderson, Liz Lane, and Adrienne Vitt will share about their time at DePaul and their work post-graduation.
Nicole Anderson is a 2013 graduate of the MA in WRD program and a recipient of the Graduate Certificate in TESOL. She currently travels around the world as Associate Director of International Alumni Programs at the University of Chicago, and, before that, she applied her WRD knowledge developing curricula for non-profit professional organizations. This year, Nicole is transitioning into a position with the International Innovation Corps, a UChicago program that launches social development programs in India.
Liz Lane graduated from the MA in WRD program in 2012 and is currently pursuing a PhD in Rhetoric and Composition at Purdue University, where last year she developed a course design that was published in Composition Studies. During her time at DePaul, Liz worked as a peer tutor at the University Center for Writing-based Learning and as a first-year writing instructor through the Teaching Apprenticeship Program. Liz’s research interests include visual rhetoric, feminist rhetorics, and gender and technology.
Adrienne Vitt is a 2013 NMS graduate who came to DePaul from a journalism background. She now works as the Associate Director of Web Content Strategy at DePaul, where she manages the core of Depaul.edu and serves in a consulting capacity for colleges and departments across the institution.
