Along with every other Spring Quarter event, the annual LAS Graduate Student Symposium had to be cancelled this year. But instead, the College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences has created a new opportunity for graduate students to showcase their work and achievements. The College is now accepting nominations (including self-nominations!) for students to be featured on a new “Student Spotlight” page.
Below, read the full call for nominations for more information about the page and to decide whether you would like to apply to be showcased.
WRD graduate students who are actively seeking professional development opportunities should consider nominating themselves for the “Student Spotlight” page. By being featured on the College’s website, graduate students can share and gain recognition for their work, projects, and interests, as well as earn a professional development experience. The spotlight would also stand out on a resume or C.V., especially for those seeking jobs in teaching or professional and digital writing.
