We are excited to announce the Winter Quarter event for our Writing & Rhetoric Across Borders speaker series. We will be welcoming Dr. Juan C. Guerra to our department on Monday, February 18 at 4:30–6:00pm in McGowan South 105.
Dr. Guerra will present his research talk titled, “An Embodied History of Language Ideologies,” addressing the language and cultural needs of students. Dr. Guerra is a professor of English and the chair of the Department of American Ethnic Studies at the University of Washington at Seattle.
