Meet Melissa Frazin, a nonprofit professional who will be presenting at “Profit from the Nonprofit Experience” on Tuesday, September 24th.
Melissa Frazin
Melissa (Missy) Frazin is a Site Manager for the Jumpstart Program at DePaul University. In her role, Frazin is responsible for co-facilitating the DePaul Jumpstart program of approximately 80 college students, including recruitment, training, and managing partnerships with seven Headstart centers in Chicago. She co-manages day-to-day operations of Jumpstart and including responsibility for insuring high-quality implementation and encouraging growth.
Prior to arriving at DePaul, Frazin served two terms in the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps in Charleston, SC and worked as a Program Coordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago.
Frazin holds a B.A in Communications from Tulane University and an M.A. in Teaching with a concentration in elementary education from DePaul University.
